Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg, 10.00 Uhr vormittags.
Wir steigen aus in einer schönen Wohngegend. Im Hinterhaus sticht an einem Fenster “Maya” heraus. Wir klingeln 3 Mal. 3 Mal bedeutet “Freund” und wir treten ein. Tracy empfängt uns. Sie kommt aus Ghana, ist seit 16 Jahren hier. Sie heißt manchmal Tracy, manchmal Nancy, je nach Webseite. Sie ist Aushilfe in einem Bordell, indem eigentlich nur Thais arbeiten. Eine der Thais ist krank und bald muss sie sich was neues suchen…..

Lee Make History Award
My Photo of the squirrel and hedgehog seller in Bangkok made it into the final round of the *Lee Make History Award* and was exhibited from November 10 to 14, 2010 at Foro Boario in Modena, Italy.

I studied visual communication in Maastricht, Netherlands and graduated with the "Bachelor of Design" in photography in 2006.
After graduation I moved to Bangkok, Thailand to work as a photojournalist in Asia. I focus on documentary storytelling and am most interested in social an cultural issues.
Since 2009 i am based in Berlin, Germany.
