Kumbh Haridwar
Kumbh Mela is the single largest religious congregation or, in fact, human gathering of any kind on earth. Since pre-history sadhus, emperors, ascetics, saints, sages and any kind of Hindu devotees have collected by the waters with ceremony. Located at 4 different locations at the sacred rivers in a cycle of 12 years a bath washes away all sins and thus ends the circle of life and death.

…in 3 days i will start my next trip to india. Beside some smaller projects, shopping, “yes!madam!”-crazyness and rikshaw-hopping my main destination will be the Kumbh Mela which is taking place in Haridwar.
The Kumbh Mela is the largest gathering in the world. The pilgrimage occurs four times in four different locations every twelve years.
